Default Strange things appearing under my bonnet!

I've had my new ZT 6 days and my first bulb went yesterday. I attempted the change in the dark with a torch tonight and noticed how tight it is down there! Luckily I noticed the little doors in the arches, so wheels on full lock enabled me to change them easily.

While under the bonnet I noticed this:

It's very well fitted, hence why I didn't notice it when looking at the car.

I fo
und out it's a "Mafam MAF Compensator"

Question is - what is it and what does it do? It has 8 settings.....

Sounds like one of Ron's mafam's has been fitted. Have you got a synergy fitted to the motor.

It is one of mine - who do you think supplies Dark Ice Designs!

Its a Digimafam DGM2 - the analogue version of the original mafam.

Incidentally, the Synergy has been renamed RonBox 1 (single channel) or 2, two channel.

I'd noticed! Unless earlier models didn't have the secret trap door in the arches?
