Default Updated guides

I have added some new guides and updated some others on my new website.

http://www.tuning-diesels.co.uk/guides/

I hope you find them useful.

Ron

PS I'll soon be a 75 diesel owner again and looking forward to it.

In association with my colleague Darren at energy-tuning.co.uk, we'll be producing some tuning packages with both a Synergy 2a and three levels of remap and with both. Expect dyno charts and performance figures from my Racelogic Performance Box in due course.

Can't wait to get stuck in!

Thanks - now you now what a 1&1mywebsite looks like - I can't believe how quick and easy it is to set up a decent website with it.

I'm still keeping the main site as there is too much to transfer over and I don't want to clutter this one up.

Ron

Thanks.
Very timely - got to try and sort out my Sons Navara tomorrow so will be very helpfull to read some of your guides. If we get it running as it should he may well get a synergy. Not much point till then though.
Fingers crossed.

BTW had just been on your new site before I saw this post. Congratulations its looking good.

Egr valves are a common problem on the Navarras I believe (same applies to most diesels these days) A Synergy 2b is available for the common rail models.

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks I will certainly take a look at EGR. He put on a new Maf a few days ago but it began playing up again. Have new fuel filter, air filter to fit & oil change. He was thinking of the 2b but then it started messing so have to get back to square one first.

Great site Ron and as usual full of goodly information. I logged on to a couple of your help PDF's and was particually interested in boosting my turbo pressure but was miffed when actually testing driving the engine hard in 5th gear, can't do that with an auto!
The other was the replacing the top on the synerge as mine dropped of years ago I have no means of knowing where it is set, only that it appears to be running OK but on what setting was anybodys guess.
Keep up the good work.
