It is indeed, but it isn't a genuine one. The cheap copies (ie not £150) are not made to the same standards, you may be lucky or you may be wasting your money. FWIW, if you are having a problem, you can clean your existing one reasonably easily with some switch cleaner or similar.

Yeah, I would tend to agree. Im not personally in the market for one but I seen it and it may be worth a gamble for someone.

although when you buy cheap you've got to be prepared to buy twice.

Technically it is a sensor + the plastic housing that goes round it.

All you need is the sensor on its own as this is cheaper (and easier to fit!).

or search for F00C2G2029 on Google/ebay. Genuine Bosch one's are about £90.

As has been mentioned, I highly recommend getting a Bosch one as I also bought a £30 one off ebay and it worked for about a week... In the end I was lucky enough to get a 2nd hand one off ebay from a breakers and it has been fine for over a year now.

Genuine Bosch ones are £90 - I wish!
Phone your nearest Bosch agent and find out the true price - nearer double that. Trade price is £135+vat.

Slight tangent. i know roverron you are the diesel wizard

is there a link between slugish diesel performence and the MAF?

if yes, can it be proved without having to buy a new MAF?

Thanks

if its underfuelling as is the norm, then just disconnect it temporarily.
You'll notice the difference within a few yards.
