Default Changes at Tuning-diesels (Roverron tuning)

A brief update about changes at Tuning-diesels.com, that mean my sister company energytuning.co.uk being responsible for sales and production of the Synergy 1cr, Vp, & Pd and mafams as well as its own Turbotune range.

Tuning-diesels.com will otherwise continue as before and will still manufacture and supply the Synergy 2 range and look after all existing customers.

The changes are purely to give me much needed time to work on new projects, one of which involves an exciting oxyhydrogen - water power product that does actually work. Its hush-hush at present so I can't say any more just yet.

We have new phone numbers too:

Energy Tuning Ltd 0845 539 39 69
Tuning-diesels.com 0845 539 39 70

Energy has a stand and the forthcoming Caravan, Boat & Outdoor shows at the SECC (Glasgow) 4-7th of Feb and NEC Birmingham 23-28thth Feb where you will be able to buy a Turbotune for the price of a Synergy (saving £90)

Have a happy & prosperous 2010

Ron

Default Synergy Imitations

A Hull company has been selling a Synergy box. They stuck my brand name on one of their existing products, having registered it as their trademark.
Had I known I'd have been able to prevent them doing this.

I have been advised not to waste money suing them due to lack of visible assets to cover my costs and damages and this has proved good advice since the Registrar of Companies has applied to dissolve them and they have 2 recent ccjs outstanding as wll as being 4months late with heir accounts (an automatic penalty).

More here:

http://tuning-diesels.com/about.htm#imitation

This all started 16months ago when they threatened to sue me after nicking the Synergy name.! They actually bought a Synergy from me 4months before sending the solictors letter! Clearly hoping that the longer I carried on using my brand, the more money'd be able to claim in damages.

Fortunately, a trademark exists whether or not its registered, the purpose of registration being to avoid public confusion should someone register a brand already in use. Had they been a decent company with some ethics and intergrity, they'd have stopped using the name and thought of one of their own - how hard could that have been. But clearly they were after benefitting from the goodwill and repuation I have built up over the preceeding 3 years.
