2001 Rover 75 2.5 kv6 fuel pump & seal replaced now detecting petrol fumes.
Hi Folks
After the above I can now smell fumes from the drivers side rear wheel arch. The locking ring is nice and tight. I have a theory that the right angled plastic pipe that obstructs the fuel pump body on removal may have developed a minute fracture, but I could be wrong. Any thoughts or advise most welcome. Kind Regards Dan Gardner |

While the locking ring might be nice and tight, check the seal has been correctly fitted, perhaps it's damaged and needs replacement.
Have a look at T-Cut's how to: https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=9108& Regards |
