Looking for the culprit: clunking
My KV6 is making some clunking noise on bumpy roads, in the front both left and right. Confident this is caused by degraded rear wishbone rubbers I looked under the car yesterday to find out that these have been changed not long ago by the previous owner and are in good condition. I replaced one of them anyway just to be sure and no, barely any difference at all.
Lacking time I didn't look further, I will in the weekend. The sound is definitely not coming from the lower engine mount. I'm hoping you guys can already point me in the right direction of what it may be. |

I'd suspect the drop links first for front end knocks. Mine was doing this until I fitted Meyle HD ones.

Thanks Lee. Replaced the drop links yesterday after work and all noise is gone.

Good to hear Timon, glad it's sorted. Out of curiosity which brand did you fit?

The drop links are from Poland, MaxGear I think. If they don't last I'll replace them with Meyle ones as they seem to be the most durable (pricewise).

When I replaced mine I opened them up first to find they had little or no lubrication so I packed them with grease.
