Default Preparing for sale

Apologies for this as it’s not 75 related but I thought it may interest some of you.

I’m currently reducing my “fleet” which includes this little beauty which I’ve had in my garage for around 35 years.

It’s a 1974 Vanden Plas Princess 1300 automatic which has only done around 35k from new and is among the very last in the build line.

Thebpaintwork was getting a bit sad, so over the last couple of months I’ve given it a re spray. I actually painted the front end 7 years ago and the cars sat in the garage since.

To get a proper finish I removed all the doors then painted each side of the car in turn then pushed the car outside to paint the doors.

At this time the doors have now been painted and I’m waiting on some assistance from my son to re fit and and align the doors.

Here’s a shot when it was sitting outside while the doors were being painted.
Hopefully within the next couple of months it will be complete and will be up for sale.

Excellent work, not sure I could part with it if I had it for that long!

As I’m approaching 70 I’ve decided to take stock of things with a different view.
I had a little health scare at the tail end of last year which has made me to reach certain decisions

I will of course keep you all informed of the changes when the time comes.

Estimate seems low to me.
