Central heated garage....
Its times like this I wish I had a large/massive/ big garage to do work on my R75, it would have to have central heating,sofa,t.v. just like they have on the USA TV films.
Just sat here itching to do me bits and bobs on the R75..... Does anybody know of any car mechanic penguins with Rover experience? Don't mind paying with a few extra fish as long as they do a good job...

I recall from years gone by an American TV show where the star would park his Thunderbird (?) in his living room.

My house has an integral garage and the freezer lives in there which takes the chill off the place - so its always dry and never actually freezing .......
....... unfortunately the 75 is too long to fit in and close the door .... |

I could have done with one today - I was welding a new inner sill onto my MGB GT - the thermometer showed 2 degrees in the garage ! I had a fan heater next to where I was working to warm me up a bit, and the welding process produced a bit more heat.

That'll be Vegas, with Robert Urich. Loved watching that as a young lad.

Although not heated both my garages are fully carpeted complete with underlay.
The missus is always wanting new carpets so the old ones were fitted into the garages. I have to add the two cars in them are not used and sit on wooden blocks. |
