My mum has Alzheimer's and went into a home, my brother and sisters all had dogs so we had her cat. I never realised that she was a house cat that never went out. But she seemed to enjoy going out in our back garden with all the other cats that all of a sudden seemed to hang about, infact she never wanted to come in. One day I thought she looks fat.

Obviously the neighbours had been feeding her

Default Toca 03/05/14 - 29/03/17

Only took a picture of Toca (the black male) and Tilly last night and they looked quite happy.

Toca passed away in my arms after a fit at 2pm today. Have taken his body to the vets who diagnosed a build up of a crystal blocked bladder in which male cats are apparently prone to.

It hasn't quite hit me yet. My big fluffy friend who always liked his cuddles. Thanks for being my big little fella.

R.I.P Toca

Thoughts with you Jay, it's heartbreaking to lose a pet, been there twice , but with dogs.

My condolences Jay.
I lost my little Meep last Friday. He'd been getting thinner and thinner and the vets had him every month checking his blood for things but could find nothing amis.
He was booked in at 4pm on Friday, but we couldn't find him. At half 3, we were calling him, and the vets next door (not the vets that Meep had been going to since he was a kitten) said they had him, he had been found passed out and wasn't doing too good.
Took him to the other vets that knew his history, and he was worried but couldn't do anything, took him back home to the vets next door who did his bloods thinking it may be antifreeze poisoning, but it wasn't. Called the Willows to get him emergency care but whilst waiting for the confirmation, he passed away in my wifes' arms.

Gutted doesn't begin to describe it. He was my little Meepy and I was devastated. The house just doesn't seem right without him.
