Thats quite some shed there Elroy! I'm limited with space as it is, so any insulation has to fit inside the 45mm framework, and even then in certain places I'm going to have to go thinner as it'll take up too much space going to the edge of the frame. I think I've got a halogen heater somewhere, but 2 of the 3 bulbs blew within a couple of months, so it's sat at the back of the garage since, I also found it to be too bright in a small space.
Wullie, unfortunately I don't know any builders, not any more, the only one I knew retired a year or 2 ago so no longer has his trade accounts, or van to collect things. I had a look at travis perkins, and for what I want, the trade discount would need to be around 50% for it to be competitive against what I've found online. I did look at polystyrene sheets, but last time I tried using them the mess was awful, I was cleaning it up for months! Steve, don't, someone a few houses away found a massive snake in their shed a few months ago, then a few days later a python was found in the road just around the corner from me. I've been terrified to look under the boards in my shed ever since. No avoiding it soon though, got to re wire the railway... Last edited by bikerdude666; 28th October 2020 at 10:09.. |

have you looked at something like wool floss, its the kind of stuff they use in ponds , that comes in different thicknesses and a lot less mess than the polystyrene
