I have 2 cats (well the wife does) and i think cats make rubbish pets. If i'd wanted a pet that ruins furniture and you only see it when it wants to eat then i'd adopt a teenager.
With regard the fire escape idea, i saw on the "my cat from hell" tv show they had an outside balcony for the cat made from what look like plastic pvc pipe and netting. Looked similar to a cat version of the kids soft play centres. Might be worth looking into something like that. |

Just caught up with this thread. They are 2 wee crackers there! I showed SWMBO and now shes pining for a kitten, however our cat Smudge would not be impressed!
Enjoy them Jay, they look right at home there.

They most certainly do, like when mine decide to have a funny 20 minutes chasing each other up and down the stairs at 3 in the morning. Or think it's great fun to leap out of the bedroom window onto you in the middle of the night. But for the most part I wouldn't be without either of them. |

She's 5 years old and a wildcat at heart, hardly in during the summer!

Yeah Mick they have. Toca (the male) does all the talking and Tilly (the the female) doesn't utter a peep. Funny, I thought it was usually the other way round for couples
