Default Help!! Cd Autochanger

I Have A Cd Changer Which Has Not Worked Since I Bought The Car Back In August Of Last Year, Well Basically I Haven't Had The Time To Look Into It, Anyway To Cut A Long Story Short, I Took The Autochanger Out (located In Glovebox) And Saw That It Wasn't Pluged In At The Back, All Well And Good, The Problem Is That It Causes The Tv Screen To Freeze (doesn't Respond To Any Buttons Pressed, Untill Unpluged Again) And Still The Autochanger Does Not Seem To Have Any Life. The Model Is: - Alpine Pt. No. Qxe 105560. I Would Be Gratful For Any Advice From You Technical Boffins Out There

I think there is a pretty good chance your CD changer is faulty.
From the fault you describe a possible internal short circuit.

I would just buy a new one rather than try and get it repaired.

There are usually a few on Ebay.
