Morning Phil and welcome home Jessica .

Not a full day at home as I have an appointment with the dental hygienist this afternoon.
After the dentist,Ros and I will be off to Colchester General Hospital to visit our neighbour who was admitted at the weekend

Before all that though, I’ll be picking up our prescriptions from the chemist and then pop to see Mum for a catch up

Rod has been ill since 2021 and he was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s. It’s taken the doctors that long to find out what was wrong with him. He wants us here to know about it.

Please do make contact with Rod when you are free, as it will give him a boost, thank you.

I still had Rod’s mobile number so I’ve sent him a text wishing him sorry to hear about his illness and washing him my best wishes, I presume the number ends with 30?

It does Richard and thank you for texting Rod which he has just received.

Please guys, no phone calls for Rod as he prefers receiving text messages, thank you. He said today, he is not very good on the phone.

LOL Refreshing It wasn't as bad as the other day really, It only needed a minute with the wet vac to clear it.
There's been so much rain here lately that the ground is sodden, I've been trying to mow the front lawns for over a week with no luck, When you walk across the lawns it's like a sponge with water oozing up. I think it'll be a few days of dry windy weather at least before I can get on them.

Just been harvesting another big tub of taters & carrots for the cupboard, I cant grow long carrots for toffee so I sow those dwarf Chantenay carrots, Don't need to peel them & they taste bootiful.

I've got a glut of cucumbers at present which I've been handing out to family & friends. Tomatoes are not far behind ripening. It's a good job my new specs are not far off being delivered, I've never mislabeled as many tomatoes varieties in my life before

These were supposed to be small cherry tomatoes (sungold) but obviously not

Phil, that is great news, we are trying to say as others have, Jessica take it easy and get pampered to hell and back,

Lots of love Dawn and Julien.
