After I left school I worked in a go-kart track, the owner absolutely worshipped Senna. Posters of him everywhere, pics of his cars, a replica race suit kept in a cabinet in the foyer When Senna crashed we had to close for the day because the boss was crying so much he couldn't work, that 1 day closure ended up being 9 days because he was having a really hard time getting over the fact Senna had died. I still believe he was the best F1 driver ever, it takes some special arrogance to be as good as him

That fateful day at Imola the world lost one of the most exciting talents ever to drive a race car.
Let's also remember that Roland Ratzeberger died the previous day in qualifying at the same event .

Was just reading an article about Senna when he test drove a Metro 6R4 and other rally cars for Car And Car Conversions Magazine back in '86.
He truly was one of the greatest drivers ever

I was fortunate to work with him from '89 through to early '94. He had real charisma in spades and was mesmerising both in the car and out of it.
