Is this the one which was on eBay? Remember that damaged wing, is it a cat c or d? Is it to keep or sell on?

Checked and they are Xenon Lights, and have the ballast fitted on the back, and yes it was the one on ebay for £350. I purchased it last Saturday, and have now got it in my garage, with bits all over the garage, and I am planning on getting it up to a reasonable standard and plan on keeping it, taking some parts this week to get powder coated, and will do a bit every night after work, and current plan is to have it on the road by april next year. Thanks PAB, will keep posting updates, problem at the minute is undoing the rusty bolts, so far, I have had to drill a few out, and that takes time.
Ordered a few stainless steel bolts tonight, to replace the rusty one's I did manage to get off. Stu |

Stu you did mention you had a project in mind for the winter when we had a chat at The Lion and I hope you are able to maintain the good feeling about the car as it comes to fruition, even though it is early days. So far nothing major has cropped up I am looking forward to reading about the progress and restoration of this lovely car.

Busy stripping the car first, to do bits, then will start puitting back together again, Went out at Lunchtime today for Paint, so after doing a thorough degrease and cleaning of the sills, and wheels arches will put some paint on, done the gearbox, and had paint so that looks nice and shiney now, and have done a couple of the bits on the front subframe. got a front wing in CMU on order, and am watching a front bumper so hopefully will have all the major parts I need to finish off the bodywork, then brakes, discs, wheels and tyres, but no rush for the wheels to get done, replace interior, and then a full service Stu |

Tidy looking car for the price, well done.
Re the wheel arch liners I use cellulose thinners (gun wash) I buy it at my local paint suppliers in 5 litre cans. it's not expensive and good for most cleaning jobs. Scrape off the excess tar first with a chisel and it saves time without marking the liners. Mine look like new. Good luck with the restoration |
