Is anyone else having issues with AOL E mail today, I keep getting a message saying your mail box is temporarily unavailable.

I got booted out of my account on my phone earlier on.
Always wary when that happens as I tend to assume the account has been compromised.

Lots of problems at the minute, many people reporting the same thing, they are probably pulling the plugs out and blowing the dust off

I'm expecting to be booted out soon. They keep insisting on a secondary email a/c and a mobile number with which to contact me should I 'forget' my password. They make getting to my mail difficult by popups preventing me. So I've refused to comply. I suspect they are preparing to sell the platform and want to boost member content to add value in advance.

I've used AOL since 2001, originally as an ISP with mail facility, but just for mail since around '05. Hand on heart, I've never had a single issue with mail....not one. I use the 'basic' format, there's no overpowering ads (there are some, but they're not a bother), certainly nothing that prevents me getting at my mail, and no pop-ups either - has Win7 got a built in killer, if not I've no programme installed to do the job, so perhaps I'm just lucky?!
