Default Rio 2016

Anyone else watching the Opening Ceremony? I've just tuned in. Looking forward to it. I absolutely loved the last ones. I watched pretty much most of the events, even ones I wouldn't normally watch. Hoping it's a good one for the Brits again.

Yes, we've got it on too. My son is watching it in his room, he's fanatical about the Olympic Games. London 2012 will take some beating though Looking good so far though!

Come on Team GB!

Opening ceremony wasn't as good as London! It was still good, though. I did like the climbing and jumping over buildings part. That was quite cool.

For the budget they had compared to London 2012 they did all right.
Just waiting to see Andy Murray carrying the flag one handed.

Hi all
I would just like to say how proud I am of our Olympic athletes, what an achievement so far.
I wish them all continued success
Come on Team GB make it happen!

Enjoying every minute of it. Amazed and delighted that we are now ahead of our target for an "away" Games.

I also hope that that Para Olympics will be as well supported in Rio as they were in London.

I still watch Coldplay at the closing ceremony of the Para Olympics occasionally and it brings it all back.

Hope for the same again but with a distinct "Rio" flavour!!

I work with the Chinese daily, they will not discuss the Olympics

My friend tells me the media has stopped reporting now as their achievement is so poor and when BBC world service shows Olympics news then the signal as with many transmissions is just cut.

Come on team GB, please finish second
