Aerial amplifier XUC100741
Has anyone got aerial amplifier XUC100741, preferably with the RF plug that goes into the black connector on the right in this pic.
I need a plug with some (or even all) of the RF cable that runs forward to the radio/head unit in the dash. |

Does anyone know what type of plug goes into the black connector on the amp? i.e. what's it called and is there a pic of one?

Pillar nomenclature
Just in case any readers are new to this nomenclature, Andy actually means the D pillar. This is because the centre pillar is known as B-C to differentiate between the surface having the front door latch striker plate (B) and that having the rear door hinges (C).
I'm only pointing this out because it's important that we all understand clearly what is being said. Simon

If that diagram is someone else's interpretation then they have also made an incorrect assumption. If you look at RAVE, Service Procedures, Body Dimensions, page 77-1-4 you'll see the reference to the B-C post. Simon

I always thought it was A, B, C on a saloon and A, B, C, D on an estate - as shown in Andy's pic.
Rimmers agrees with RAVE though and they both use A, B-C, D on a saloon and A, B-C, D, E on an estate. So there are obviously two conventions. Great, just what we need - more confusion! Here's the first convention: link Here's the second convention: link and pic below Btw, is it a pillar or a post. |

In addition to RAVE, my Rover SD1 repair manual also illustrates A, B-C, D and E posts and that was in force thirty five years ago. The internet is useful, but the truth can be evasive. Simon
