Glad you enjoyed the day, I did as well, although overcast, I have ended up quite red, should have put on sun cream, and it turned out to be a very good day, and thanks to all those members who turned up, and some from a considerable distance, some very nice cars on display at the show, and some very interesting models, and our club stand was well presented as a club on the day, and I think we did the marque quite proud As regards the bikers, No problems as we moved as requested, and then I spoke to them and they were not a bad bunch, all ex Squaddies who were raising funds for the ex forces charities, and when I told them I was ex member of the forces they were very friendly So once again thanks to all Stu |

Always a good day at MG Northumbria, some nice motors on display, took me ages to finally walk round and get some photos, as each time i left the club stand, I met someone I know. Either from the classic car scene, or just people I know in general , suppose its what comes of growing up in a village a few miles away.

Thanks everyone for coming along today. It started off with my dad the chairman and organiser of the show breaking down so my zt was used to tow him in the final 10 miles with the rope snapping as we can down the drive in to the show ground that was lucky. The turn out In my opinion was not as good as past shows but we all had a good time. Some of you may have seen my car with it's mods and glitter which I know isn't to everyone's taste but being different is what makes us all special. Anyways thanks again everyone for attending with out the club's the show would be nothing

Thankfully a brief spot of incontinence from the coolant first thing was easily diagnosed and fixed. It was my fault entirely for not tightening the cap properly. D'Oh! I did not lose much coolant, had not gone far and no harm seems to have been done.
It was a great day out with lots of great cars to see. Some of the cars I liked most were the ones which were once 'ordinary', common cars that were everywhere, but have now all but disappeared. Walking round to see all the cars took a long time, but the best part of the day was the opportunity to blether with other club members. I must say a big thank you to everyone who helped to organise the show and to Stu for sorting out the club stand and organising the meeting points, etc. Thanks also to Marinabrian for his help. |

I concur a fantastic day out, yes the weather threw some wind at us but it remained dry, and at times sunny. Great to get to see some familiar faces and meet some i have missed when they have collected parts.
Adding a selection of photo's from the day including some of my favourite cars, (The best been the little Datsun 100A, I loved mine in its day) Thanks again to Stu for a great job, such a fantastic ambassador to our club Albeit it was not on our stand even MFL made an appearance ZED The Ted got in on the act How about this our new T4 Guru MarinaZED Upon Reflection all the cars looked good
