So the guy got angry because his own cat's poo was in his own garden, shame. If he's that worried about his daughter being "blinded" get rid of the cat.

Unfortunately we have 2 cats, one who probably poops in other people's gardens, not much I can really do about it though. The other makes up for it by doing it all over our own grass. Just one of the reasons I think cats are a rubbish pet.

They were both clearly lying in court, I dare say the truth was somewhere between both sides version of events.

If you have a cat though, I don't see how they can be prevented from pooping somewhere else, most like to poop out of their own garden.

Maybe some pet repellent would be the way to go?

I have 3 cats and all are kept indoors. That's the easy way to prevent toilets being made in other people's gardens.

ive trained my cat to hold it all in till she gets let out and then she perches on the fence and makes sure the contents are dumped on the neighbours side.
They hate us anyway and spray our dogs with hosepipe so i think it's karma

I thought that was a good one as well, has he trained his cats not to use his garden but to go elsewhere

Strangely all you need to do is make a spot with loose soil and private in your own garden and remove the poops when there and your own cats will soon learn to use it rather than neighbours gardens!
Anyhow, it's no worse than Dog owners not clearing up after their pets on the pavement or for that matter birds overhead, squirrels, hedgehogs etc etc!
Poo is a fact of life, remember that next time you go for a dip in the sea

only cats do it on your garden disguise it with a bit of loose soil, its only when your doing a bit of weeding you find it,and with any luck your wearing gloves, round by wear i live dog owners use little bags to pick up there dog dirt and then hang it from the nearest bush look,s lovely at xmas sad thing is there,s a bin about 20 feet up the path for said bag,go figure.

We have a cat called Fudge, he comes outside with me, but goes in if he needs to go to the loo, he has never been in any garden but ours, he is more like a dog than a cat, It may be because we have a dog called Winston & we did have a Rabbit called Daisy, so fudge will always be by our sides, ,I say train your cat to be with you it's easy

Do what we have done and get yourself a couple of jack russells, I have not seen a cat in the garden for a long long time.
