Default broken suspension?

I was driving yesterday and my car & steering wheel started shaking & also the car started really making a loud noise & vibrating underneath the drivers side

This morning i looked & i noticed that my car sits lower on 1 side than the other, also 1 wheel nut was missing & the other one was loose, the other 3 were tight

I'm guessing i need to buy a new suspension or shock absorber?

My question is will the suspension from the 2.0/2.5 v6 fit my 2.0 cdt? i heard that the 2.0/2.5 sit 7mm lower like the diesel so they should be identitical or am i wrong?

Let's not jump to conclusions. When was that wheel last off the car? What was the last service done on the car. It may be that the lug bolts were not torqued the last time they were installed. The 3 remaining ones may be loose also, but jammed by the wheel and just feel tight. Your suspension may be fine. The first job will be to jack up the car and take that wheel off for a good look at everything. And get a couple of new lug bolts.

Cheers,
Glenn

Also check the bolt holes in the wheel for elongation,.

One vehicle I had displayed signs of a bearing going, AA called out and agreed. Got it transported to a mechanic who found misaligned wheel nuts, and that was it.
