Smile front grill removal - 75 tourer (05)

Is there a 'how to remove' the front grill on a rover 75 tourer, I wish to change the fan resistor?

On a MK1 you just remove the two plastic scrivits in the top then it comes out, on a MK2 you have to remove the whole bumper as the grille is plastic welded in to the bumper.

I should have mentioned I need the whole grill/bumper off as it is a premium assy I had fitted some years back! There appears to be a sort of wing nut sticking out from the plastic inner wing cover! (tourer 05)

The Premium bumper is removed exactly like the standard Mk2 bumper. Can't guess what the 'wingnut' is, but it should become clear to you when you get down to it.
There are lots of discussions and HowTo stuff, but this YouTube video tells it all.

EDIT: If the 'wingnut' is fastened to the wheel arch liner, it sounds a bit like a push-rivet with the ends splayed apart.

The "wingnut" is the fastener for the headlight bulb access hatch

Les is your car fitted with a real premium bumper, or one of the Chinese versions?
