Well done young man! The radio blanking plate from my last Rover, a 1969 White P6B. That car was on the membership card of the P6 Rover Owners Club from, if memory serves, 1989.

The shelf it hides is where I leave the emergency hammer, coins for parking emergencies and the RAC card for the unmentionable ones (never necessary in that car in 8 years of ownership). Secured to the bottom of the dash by industrial Velcro, so will flap up without coming off.

What a nice car, my favourite shade of green, both inside and out

You can't beat it when you find a keeper, even better when it's on your doorstep

I'm pretty sure it found me Brian. Every time I passed it I could swear it winked at me. That's flirtin with danger is that.

I've a bit of work to do under the bonnet and I sort of feel the VIS motors are taking a breather amongst other things but there's plenty of time.

I've banned Celia from wearing her stilettos in it, those carpets are better than our lounge - sorry, withdrawing room.

Sorry Matthew, both now found (see above)! Three keys on that ring, one Yale, one separate deadlock and ignition.

How's things in Saltash? We lived there for 8 years (Essa Road) and loved every minute. Used to take trainees as a motorcycle instructor from the dockyard. Happy days in a wonderful place!
