On my computer I get now a couple of threads with pictures so large in size, that the viewing is made difficult owing to the pictures running out of the frame, calling for sideways scrolling.
There is no obvious advantage in any of the cases, no great detail to study and other advantage I can see.
Would it not make sense to try and reduce the size of the picture before posting? just to make it a bit easier on the readers and cut down on bandwidth?
In case people do not know how to do that, some knowledgeable IT guy can maybe chime in, but a size reduction function is normally available in any picture handling software under "edit". Many will also recommend sizes for different applications, such as this one.
If nothing else is available, try this link for a good, free picture handling program: http://tinypic.com/
thank you.

If this happens, press ctrl - until the image comes to view. You cannot read the text easily but you can view the images and then press ctrl + to return size.

Sharp! works fine! but a smaller size pic would be best option.

Yes, but when people have other things on their minds, or simply a lack of knowledge, it is not always possible.
