What an insult that would be

Hi Jimmies and thanks

sadly too late; and it was my birthday on Friday

did look great to me and without a sunroof and xenons I was happy (given the auto and LPG)

anyhow thanks for the note and shame I was not faster to move; was planning a trip tomorrow

Amazing there's still members on here intent on de valuing these fine cars !
Time and time again these sales far exceed expectations.
Throw those second hand Glasses Guides in the bin.
They are only slightly good for valuing ex fleet Vauxhall or common Ford cars .

I'm not aware that anyone has quoted a Glasses Guide or Cap value for that matter on this vehicle, if they had, it would be a lot lower than the figures being bandied about on this thread!

V8's make substantially more than what they book at in both Glasses and Cap, but to ignore what high mileage does to the value of these vehicles, is unrealistic!

I saw Jimmie's old car last week (bought for £4K) and yes it is immaculate. Now the rub, it is to be turned into a stripped down track car fitted with a 32 valve V8.

For the record, as it was:

That will be an interesting project !

So if it sold for £4k, the £2500 valuations I saw knocking around here under valued it by about 35%

I seem to remember it might well have only been one valuation, but then again

I think that Jimmie still owns the DTM shell, but he was looking to sell it.
