I have a DAS-Pro. Have only ever used it a handful of times but it does the job. Just spent the weekend cleaning all my pads and cloths and towels. My Menzerma polishes arrives this week along with Iron X as I had ran out.

Rav

I am considering buying the DAS 6 Pro myself, but it is quite expensive. Can I ask if it makes that much difference to the look of the car, or is it just a labour saving device to save your arms from aching?

thanks

The difference a machine makes is fantastic. You can't really get a good cut by hand.

You will never achieve the results by hand compared to what a machine can do. No matter how hard you try. The difference is that the machine polisher will get rid of the swirls, when doing it right. It takes a bit of practise. You won't get rid of swirls by hand. Because you're getting rid of this, the depth is much much better. The DAS Pro is very good, but it does hurt your arms but it's worth it. I plan on doing bit by bit, I hope to do the rear bumper, boot lid and rear quarters this week then then next week will do the roof and work forward.

Also, the prep has to be right. Paint work has to be super clean before you even touch the bodywork with a polisher. So proper washing technique, then tar remover, also removing iron deposits and then claying it otherwise you will do more damage to the bodywork. Hope that helps.
