Kames Show ** change of date** now 29th August**
** UPDATE FOR KAMES CAR SHOW **
Due to the recent Scottish Government Announcement providing the latest dates ( 24th August ) for the relaxation of live events, we have to once again change our planned date to accommodate! Therefore after consideration the Annual Car Show will now take place on SATURDAY 29th AUGUST 2020 ( 10.00am till 4.00pm ) We have had authorisation from East Ayrshire Council's Events and Resilience department that we can go ahead on this date and Police Scotland are also on side. TRACK AND TRACE - Car owners and spectators will be asked to fill out a track/trace card with your name, address and contact number. This can be returned into the post box near the club house before you leave the event. GUIDELINES KEEPING YOU SAFE - Social Distancing Guidelines will be in place throughout the day, and we ask all spectators to follow the One Way System while viewing the cars. Hand Sanitisation Points will be plotted round the circuit and located next to our toilet area. Toilets are also cleaned by a designated member of our team after each use. Masks can be worn by spectators, this is not compulsory. Our Event Organisers and Marshalls will be provided with PPE and Masks/Visors will be worn at all times. We must remind you to follows the FACTS Guidance from the Scottish Government. * Face Coverings in enclosed spaces * Avoided Crowed Places * Clean your hands and surfaces regularly * Two-meter distancing * Self-isolate if you have symptoms All our Traders and Car Clubs must follow these guidelines within their pitches. Car Clubs who have already pre-registered their expected numbers, they are still valid for our new date so no need to re-apply. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 29th August. WE'D APPRECIATE IF YOU CAN SPREAD THE WORD Thanks, Kames Car Show Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the Club’s public liability insurance. Also the Owners Club take no responsibility for the meet/event in any way

Kames!!
Sorry it's not so relevant to the topic but this just reminded me of the sprints we used to go to at Kames. East Ayrshire Car club I think? Got the chance to use the track for our cars if we sorted out tyres etc after the events
Showing my age now but we had.. Xr2 Manta Lancer 2000 Turbo |
