Default Difficult engaging first and reverse gear.

Hi folks

Recently had a Borg and Beck plate and slave fitted, along with Tazu master and a dual mass flywheel by LUK.

First day it was amazing to drive, however now I'm struggling to engage first and reverse while the engine is running. Any ideas? I really don't want to have to take it back to the garage and pay ridiculous labour for them to take the gearbox out again for a possible simple remedy.

Thanks
Jack

I would start by contacting the garage and telling them of the issue, especially if they supplied and fitted all the components in the recent past.
I would expect some. warranty from them on the parts and labour.
give them chance to diagnose the fault, which does sound remarkable like its clutch related.
it may just need bleeding but that's best for them to diagnose!

if you start fiddling about or getting others to fiddle about then you diminish their liability and introduce wriggle room
