Default polishing machines

hi guys,can anyone recommend a good quality polishing machine,not one of the cheap and nasties from halfords,regards.

silverline orange is a good entry machine...have a mouch through the valeting forum

Kestrel DAS-6. That's what I bought. Not used a G220 but by all accounts they're virtually the same machine, and the Kestrel is a fair bit cheaper. Plus as they're both random orbital machines they're pretty safe for beginners.

I got mine as part of a kit with pads and polishes etc from www.cleanyourcar.co.uk, they sell various machines including the Kestrel dual action, the G220 Tatts mentioned and a couple of rotary machines similar to the Silverline Greeners recommended. Good for a browse.

The Kestrels are available as kits from the bay of fleas. You have to search for Kestrel: not DAS-6. (some list it as DAS6 so it's confusing).
