It Never Rains
But it pours!
Well after much expense at the beginning of the week I seem to have cured my oil usage problems but now I've noticed severe bumper blackening & on investigation there's an ole in me back box Are replacements readily available & how much? (ZT-T CDTi) I bought this car to save money on fuel & it has saved me a fortune but it's took it all back in repairs already Disgruntled Dixon |

With the diesel engines some members have opted to take the plunge and fit an entire new exhaust and de-cat at the same time. Improves exhaust gas throughput and coupled with other mods such as Synergy etc it can help improve power output/miles per gallon. Granted it'll cost a bit more than a back box combo but it's something to consider if you are looking at long-term performance improvements to your car.

What I'm considering at the moment is repairing it as cheaply as possible & moving it on before it gets any more expensive

Its a fantastic looking car and worth what is needed to keep it running even if you have to delay the proper repair....some nice 18" 11 spoke would look the business on it though or maybe gridspoke...
