All being well I'll come along. I have my £16 ticket from last July's trip which is still valid. For anyone else who hasn't been to Beamish before it is a really interesting day out. In fact it's difficult to see it all in a day.

Fred

I agree, it is an excellent venue. It would be nice if more members could attend. I have spent months trying to convince our MG Club chairman to let the Rover 75 and MG Club attend, and he has agreed. It would be nice to see a number of the members especially those in the North attend. It is an excellent day out for the family. You get to use all the facilities of the museum, trams, trolley bus, train and shops, (especially the sweet shop), my favourite place in the museum, watching them make the sweets, then trying out the samples. Old Fashion Pubs, cafe's and lot of other things to do.

Oh and all the cars, MGs and Hopefully Rover 75's

For anyone thinking about attending have a look at some photos from our visit there during Roverowner's tour 2010: https://picasaweb.google.com/freddsp...mishMuseumWeb# (best viewed in Slideshow/Full Screen mode, also press F11 on your keyboard to get rid of the gubbins at the top and bottom - press it again to get it back later).

Thanks for the Photo;s Fred, look good. Just to let you all know, but the Durham MG Club actually get into the museum and we park on the main display area within the museum, so as mentioned you get to use all the attractions at Beamish as well

Nice photos Fred, hadn´t seen them all. Beamish is a great place, highly recommended (the company wasn´t too bad either) Hopefully we will be in NZ then so maybe next year. The little man will be one year on Monday. Time does fly

He´s lovely, when he´s asleep
