i gave up on this thing before i went on holiday but now ive returned im going to try again.stand by mark!
or..would it just be best to buy a nice new wireless system?.if so can anyone recommend a good one suitable for my computer and my playstation 3? |

Anything from reputable brands is ideal.
Ideally you want something than can run Gigabit LAN (10/100/1000) as this will benefit the playstation (and possibly your PC with its got a 1MB LAN port). Belkin, Netgear are probably the people I'd look at. Lets not give up just yet though. Get some screen shots of the interface if you can and email me: markfenwick (at) gmail (dot) com and i'll look to see if there is anything there. Did you find the model number at all? |

mark,what i did in the end(in frustration!) was upgrade my broadband to 2 meg and i receive a free wireless modem/router with the package.i think it will be a speedtouch..
hopefully it will be here tommorow.....and the process of setting up starts again!! |

Is it actually a router though? Or just a modem. Otherwise you'll be back on asking the same question

speedtouch wireless modem and router arrived today and miracle upon miracle,it all works.
i conected the computer itself with the ethernet cable and the playstaion 3 and psp via the wireless capability.the speedtouch set up was really easy unlike the cheapo thing i tried originally! thanks for your help esp mg oracle...cheers |
