Here is one I took with the 55-210 today. Lovely day and these 3 were plotting on the lawn

Three from today.
It is hard to get the little blighters pin sharp especially when flying. In the first shot the nearest bee is out of the sharp area of the field of view, but hey I have never got a shot of bees stacking up to land on a flower before. Two more. These Dog Roses and the bees make for a great pic. Give it a few days and the Dog Roses will be gone until next year.
Edit: I got one of a Hoverfly also. There are afew more on Flickr. Bee landing on dog rose - final descent by Paul Stickley, on Flickr Be on dog rose - Touch down by Paul Stickley, on Flickr Hoverfly landing on dog rose by Paul Stickley, on Flickr Last edited by Rocket; 28th May 2017 at 13:21.. |

Splendid photos Paul. I like the feather and eye reflection details. Thank you for sharing
Whilst in John Lewis Brent Cross today, I tried out the A6000, A6300 and an A7ii I wasn't able to test panning, shutter lag. No memory card. The A6500 was out on loan to John Lewis Oxford Street. What surprised me was that the full frame was lighter than than the A6300, although there was not much in the difference. |
