Air con upgrade ..impossible?
Hi, I have a base spec R75 with manual air con controls, is it possible to upgrade the air con to climate control by buying something like this?, I expect not but thought I would ask

It's not possible to just buy the panel, you need to buy an aircon compressor, pipes, and some new vents. And some looms I think.
It's really not worth it. |

It can be done, it has been done, but the job is a major one and will be very expensive in time and parts. Probably much cheaper to swap the car for the one you want.

It also needs the complete dash removed so the heater box can be changed as it is completely different. A/C compressor, pipes, condenser and do on.
It is possible, but worth it? I think not. |

Terry at TSAutos in Stourbridge has done this so if you want a quote, or to know exactly what it entails, he is your man.

Nothing needs changing under the bonnet, but the whole heater behind the dash needs changing along with the dash which has sensors in it, everything just plugs in but requires a t4 session to enable it. It took me around five hours to convert mine
