sorry, can't remember that. Do you have a diagnostic device? I think mine reset itself.

There's no manual resetting necessary. If the ABS sensors are all in working order, the system resets itself during the ignition on self-test.

Good job I ordered two! i shved the ridges off the sides of the other one but still had to drive it in with a bit of wood and hammer!1Any way job done the ABS light has gone out. Now onto the air bag light but I am never going to get it past the mot tommorow as the whisbone is just not playing ball, I think I will canel the MOT until next week and have another weekend of losing skin on my hands to do the whish bone.

If you're struggling with the wishbone Dave, take it round to Steve at Central Garage, he won't charge you much to do it.

Make sure you clean all the old rust in the hole that will have accumulated (this is what makes the old ones so hard to remove)...

I used a suitably large drill bit with some grease on to clean up the hole by hand (not in a power tool). The grease helps keep the rust from falling down and sticking to the magnetic bearing (which may upset the sensor reading).

I also had a round file to clean it up too.. Once clean, the sensor slips in nice and easily. I also put a smear of copper grease to help slow any future rusting down.

Both drill bit and file I had some tape round to mark the position to avoid going in too far and damaging anything!

That's why I said use an m12 bolt, once you've tapped it in, you use the nut to pull it back out which files the hole clear for the new sensor to just drop in the hole
