Default Japan Spec Tailgate

Does anyone have a photo of the tailgate on a Japan spec 75/ZT?, I would be interested to know the difference, I am assuming it's just the number plate?

At a guess, numberplate fixings.

Japan cars have to have preplaced fixings for the numberplate. Usually a couple of avdel rivnuts (or nutserts) at the bottom of the number plate area.

Hi Les.

Found one of a Japanese saloon. When you said tailgate, do you mean the Tourer?

I'll keep looking if you did. Here is the saloon. Doesn't look any different to me.

Ah birthday boy...

had a quick look under the trim for the tailgate, and there is only one style listed, so I would assume that the difference is probably number plate fixings.

Don't think you even need that. The actual difference is two 8mm square holes for the Jap spec number plate.

UK one covers them .

That is why we now only sell Jap spec.
