Default Exhaust Strap on ZT-T

The strap has broken holding the rear box.

I have seen the part numbers that I need to order - but which web site do I order them from? I go to the Rimmers website and search the catalog - but the parts aren't found.

If not a web site - anybody got a telephone number for a spares place... or failing this... does any have a recommendation for one of the local exhaust centres (Reading, Berks) that holds ZT-T parts?

Go to:-
http://www.thepart.co.uk/en/search/
Select Xpart and enter your part number (WCU000310)?? If this number is correct there are literally hundreds in Xpart and dealers around the country.

Red face

On the Rimmers site click on prices it as along the bottom of the page. A box will pop up and enter the part number and click next to see price and availability and then you can add the part to the order form.

Or phone them!

Try the likes of kwik-Fit etc first!. They have, what looks like long strips of meccano that can be cut/shaped to size.

I've just done mine, and it's pretty straight forward.

Replace the complete assembly, as the bolts will be rusted in the upper part....

You need

WCU000310 Bracket assembly-mounting rear exhaust - rear hanger lower
WCU101021 Bracket assembly-exhaust mounting - upper rear exhaust
WCS100211 Mounting-rubber catalyst support

Change the rubber mounts too as it's easier to cut the old ones off and fit new ones

You'll also need a couple of new bolts as well.......no sure what size as I dug mine out of a tool box.

A drop of washing up liquid on the rubbers also helps slide them on too...
