I'd budget in the repair to the driver seat.

Looks like the rip is about 3" long. Should't cost to much to fix but I'd add some extra padding under the rip to stop the strain.

I know I am getting old, and my eyes are not what they used to be Steven, but where exactly is this 3" rip

it looks like it is on the door side on the base of the seat where the base meets the back

They all seem to go there, still a bargain price though! that will be snapped up pretty quick and they are not memory so simpler to wire in.

Yep. A lot go at that point as the padding seems to easily get moved away by the larger butt cheek

I'm having mine (the seat that is) fixed for £50 when I can afford it. My rip is only 1CM long but I think the price would be teh same for this one.

If not fixed they continue to tear and age.

I'd also expect to see a few cracks in the leather by the bolster thats hidden.

I'm in no way trying to put you off buying a set as they are great. It's just good to be realistic. Perhaps ask the seller to give a better picture of the drivers right buttock area.

Isn't it only 3 extra wires (Perm live, Perm earth and kBus)?

I've never seen a non memory seat so purely interested for interest sake.
