Default MGR Cars in Paris

Been in Paris this week and did my usual informal car marque count.

MGR = Nil points

Jags = 2 one X type and one S type on French plates- the latter had a dealer sticker -Jags Only

Range Rover -Only One discovery on GB plates parked outside the George Cinque Hotel

Interestingly from my observations re top range cars is that the Mercedes is King in Paris by a mile followed by BMW then Audi.

Default Clean Air

When you were in Paris did you have a Crit'air sticker?
I'm interested to know what category the 1.8T engine is?
The diesel auto is category 4.

Eurostar - and the Metro when in Paris - would never risk the old girl in that madhouse.

I know what you mean the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe were chaos.
Took a day trip to see the sights in the centre we got the train in and used the metro, no complaints about that, good value and lots of options.

To be fair the nearest I got to the centre was Marne le Vallee (Disneyland) and then Versailles.
Disneyland was easy to drive around not as much traffic as I expected, though buses were very good.
Versailles was busy, especially in the evening.

If it's any help my X-plate 2.5 is a Category 3 and my '05 Outlander 2.4 is a category 2. Have a look on the French government website. Can't remember the address but I think you can access it via the RAC one.
