Default Right side bumper exhaust shield found!

I`ve seen around here that is almost impossible to find the right side exhaust heatshield from a 260 but I found it at a big parts shop around here . Part number DQQ000220MMM and also DQQ000140MMM was available. Tuesday it will be here and perfect sync because the car is under full respray and I can cut the bumper now. The sad part is the price...almost 85e . Requested them a picture of the item because the local store said they cannot refund a OEM requested part and had to be sure. The part is a perfect match. I know for you it seems expensive because you pay a couple of hundred for the whole car but around here a decent 75 is at least 3.000e. Small price to pay to obtain the oem rear look of a ZT V8 .

The purpose of this thread is that someone is willing to pay 85e for this part, I can order more and ship them to you.

A good find albeit €85 but has been NLA for a while now.
Wonder what other NLA items they would have hidden away.

Why didn't I think of that...Anyway, I'm glad this part is still available . Can't wait to have my dual exhaust mounted. Sadly, Apex wheels are expensive to buy and ship them from UK

Was it just the one trim available or did they have multiple of them? Apex wheels can be had cheap here, I have had 2 sets, never fitted any though shipping them over is probably quite expensive to be fair

You can cut a left hand one to make it fit the other side

I picked one up that had been modded to fit.

@jordan - on their computer software for ordering parts, when I received the picture of it to be sure that is the right one, it said in my language something that translates like "a lot of them available"

@les4048 - not really because they are not exactly the same part, I mean they are uneven. Longer on one side and shorter on the other side. In case I couldn't find this one, my plan B was to look for this kind of trim on other cars.
