Some Appreciation At Last!
I was reversing out of a parking bay today at my local supermarket, when I clocked a gent behind me. I stopped and then as he moved back out of the way proceeded to reverse.
As I engaged first and started to pull away he tapped on my window, I put it down and he said "Please forgive me, I was trying to work out what your beautiful car was". I replied "It is an MG ZT". He replied "What an amazing car! It's lovely! I hope it drives like an MG should!" To which I replied, "It sure does, even though it's a diesel". He replied "Wow, there can't be many of them around! I commend you on driving such a modern classic and quite clearly looking after it so well. Thank you for your time" Naturally, I just turned, faced the missus, smiled and said "What a lovely, knowledgeable man". Furthermore, my 14 year old son said "Dad, I love this car, It's so cool" Happy days!

Same here. Most people say: nice jaguar.
A few people actually told me they never knew rover made such a beautiful car. A cop pulled me over once to check my paperwork, he refused to believe that my car was 15 years old. Even after central confirmed that everything was in order.
