Will a bonnet fit into the rear of a Tourer?
In anticipation of picking up a spare bonnet, (it's from a saloon, but I'm sure it will fit my tourer) would it be able to be carried in the rear of a Tourer?
I have to make a quick decision. |

I decided not to fold it, but having come to work on my cycle, it was a thought, and I could not measure it. Thank you for the quick replies, amazingly quick.

I can assure you that it can be done, having assisted Tim Burgess to put a bonnet into the back of his ZT-T. Bit of lateral thinking, and it's no problem!

Put the bonnet in at an angle, so that the front of the bonnet is to one side of the car, and rear to the other. It will not fit in its normal aspiration. You need to angle it, then lift it over the suspension intrusions, and rest it thus, with the rear seat folded. It's tight, but it works.

Thank you for the advice, now I know, but it's been sold, looking out now.

If you've got roof bar, just pop it on the roof.
