Elegance is never dated or tired! Even now, the Ford does not look as streamlined, and think how many 75/ZTs you can buy for one Mondeo.

Since the ZT was first presented to the public there have only been a few saloon/estate cars that can give it a run for its money in the looks department. Alfa 159 eh..............I think that's it!

Having walked around POL yesterday I have to say that I agree. While some of the Longbridge cars look old, the 75s and ZTs still look as good and as fresh as when they left the factory. They are, like truly good designs, timeless.

The 2005 model you posted was a MK1 and was replaced in 2004.

I have a V6, 2005 model same as the picture above.
Point is the so-called car 'experts' were deriding the MG ZT when they started loving this new "bubble car" look. Now luxury models looks like our MG ZT but you have to pay premium prices (£25k upwards) or drive a bubble car like the thousands we see cluttering up the roads today. |

Still think an Sd1 looks much more modern than any other 1976 car and less dated than the 800 that replaced it.

There is a SD1 near me that has been parked up for over 25 years, its now has shrubbery growing out of it.
