Strictly for health reasons, just don’t tell my congregation I use it instead of Altar wine.

Oh! They could be related.

I was thinking of Russia's oldest smoker ... you know, the one who died a few years back:

Ivan Astichestikov.

Morning from a very soggy Saltash. Been chucking it down all yesterday and last night. Strong winds have blown Redfive's cover off. But the one over the Bear is holding up ok. So I now have 2 car covers drying out, Banana's is virtually dry and Redfive's is now hanging up in the bathroom.

Was going to go to the MGOC meet at Athelhampton House up near Dorchester in Dorset but I think I'll give it a miss.

We had a cracking evening last night with some of the Southwest Crew at the Ten Tors pub in Kingsteinton. The food service was a bit hit and miss with a few mistakes made, and as for the dessert order well that's best left unsaid. I though I was the expert at cremating food but I'll take my hat off to the chef who cremated the apple crumble.

But the manger was very apologetic and took the desserts and drinks off of the bill and bought us all a coffee each.
We will be going back.
