How do i get rid of these symbols?

I have had my Navall 3 for about 12 months and keep getting symbols in the top left corner

How do I get rid of them, two look like shields, one is a spanner and one looks like a rook on a chess set.

Nothing I seem to do gets rid of them.

Do these things have a cursor? If it's like an Android tablet, drag the icons down from the page top & press the 3 little bars to delete
