Today I had the front bumper off and managed to get 3 jobs done.

1. Intercooler O rings changed, both old ones totally knackered.
2. Screenwash bottle flushed out. There was a good inch or two of "sludge" in the bottom of it stoping any water coming through.
3. Rad fan reconnected and tested. One of the joints of the resistor/fan feed had corroded and just fallen apart. Air con still will not run, probably leaked whilst it was standing for two years so will have to have it re gassed. But the main thing is I've proved the fan and resistor physically work.

An afternoon well spent!

Oh yeah, fitted the club sticker to the rear window too

Didn't do anything to 'my' 75 as I don't actually own one sadly. However, I did have a ride in a lovely dark blue 2.5 V6 - auto flavour. Oh, what a lovely car the 75 is. The engine was lovely and smooth, nice cabin, nippy for a big lump too. This was the first time I had ever driven one and I loved it. The only thing I noticed was that the drivers seat was very firm and seemed less comfy that the 45. I don't know if there is a seat firmness tensioner type mechanism, if so then maybe it was set at maximum firm. Other than that the digital display was missing some pixels. I looked on the floor but couldn't find them.
Otherwise it was perfection. I so want one of these!

Default Useless!

Thought I'd finally get 'round to fitting the DVB to my Navall 1. Gathered all of the required gubbin's and set about the task. Approximately 2 mins in, I started putting it all away...it needed power; had wires labelled Ground and 12v

Given my ineptitude I decided discretion should get the better of valour and checked my fluid levels and tyre pressures instead

the ground wire should be poked into a potted plant kept on the rear parcel shelf and the other only connected to the exhaust pipe of a V12 (12v was a typo)

Had a busy day, started by visiting matt1301!
We then changed front brakes to a 190 set up, changed the rear brake pads and discs for new ones! Cleaned the wheel arches, changed the lower engine mount, all had there problems but it is all done now!
Noticed corroded rear suspension arms, they need changing, a leaking rear shock, they need changing, so might as well change the rear springs as well! Oh and play in tie rod ends at the front

Default Manual cloth to manual leather

Being off today, I finally removed my original, manual, cloth, single piped, ash grey seats and took the covers and foams off them and replaced with the double piped ash grey leather covers and foams from the electric seats I bought from Suzublu...
Couple of hours later and job done. Seats look great and thanks to the members and the how-to's on here, it was actually a fairly straight forward task - you'd never know that they didn't leave the factory that way (everything slots neatly into place).
I was a little intimidated by the prospect of taking the seats apart having never lifted a wrench to a car until I joined this club last year, but it really was quite simple.
I know "this thread is useless without pictures" but "I am awful with technology" so I won't bother!
Big thanks to Ronnie, the seats look great and to Rich for the encouragement.
Cheers, Karl.
