As a footnote...some of the best waterborne entertainment can be watching others making err, a pig's ear out of berthing etc. Not that it is a good idea to be seen laughing of course...

There is a harbour in Lefkas in Greece at a place called Vasilliki ( a well known windsurfing spot with good reason) where watching the attempts of some folk tackling stern to berthing in their yachts ....

This only good sport after you have made a satisfactory job yourself!
I had great entertainment myself mooring up on Sunday at our Marina, looked pretty slack the water ........looks can be deceiving though and I was very grateful that one of our fellow boaters grabbed our stern ropes and helped pull us in

So no giggling from me that day lol
