Default a little something for MGF owners

From speaking to a few MGF owners, I've heard that their headlights can be pretty poor at night, a couple calling them candle lights in the dark. Well I bought a set of MGF headlights this week and took them apart to see if there's something I could do to solve this problem.

Well here's a little sneak peak into what I've been able to do, could be of interest to members who also own a MGF

Cat Eye Quad Bi-xenon headlights for the MGF!

These are great Rick, got a sort of TF look to them. Would love to see them fitted to an F.
Another problem with F headlights is the de-chroming of the reflectors over time which can result in MOT fails. Quite an expensive job getting them re-chromed or replaced. You've just come up with an alternative solution

I watch with interest

Cheers Paul yeah I'm looking forward to seeing them fitted too they do look quite close to TF headlights which I like .

Wasn't aware of the de-chroming issue, although I did notice whilst cleaning the reflectors that the chrome just wipes off straight away! so what I was thinking of doing with these is painting the reflectors and surround in matt black, as the reflectors are no longer needed

Cheers for pointing that out

The big question; How much would a pair cost?

Looks great well done

Here's some photos of them running with CCFL DRL Halo rings and dual low beam xenon projectors
