Default Lovely weekend on the Broads

Went out on our boat and 'wild moored' for the first time

Found a lovely spot at Fleet Dyke, South Walsham and moored up using our rond anchors.

Total peace and quiet, beautiful sunset, what more could you ask for

Looks absolutely idyllic Jeff - I'd show you some photos of our weekend in Devon - but I didn't want to get lots of raindrops on the lens.
I do love the pace of life on the Broads - you just can't rush can you
Donkey's years ago, on the Broads with another young couple, we moored up in the middle of nowhere one night - couple of iron spikes in the bank and tied up to them. We were woken by the sound of various different klaxons - we were floating downriver
Either somone had untied us during the night - or whoever tied the knots was never in the Scouts
