He should have no need for it - he must have been made redundant now that all the villagers are dead

If anybody's still reading this, I'm currently working my way through the early Midsomer Murders - THAT'S how bored I am - and the first 75 to appear was T277 MOA, in Season 2, episode 3 (1999)... there were others after that

With Barnaby, Rosemary & Thyme and that fat bloke with the restaurant all knocking around in the M40 corridor there ought to be no crime whatsoever. And that's before you throw in Bodie and Doyle!

Ah, well, Bodie's dead now you know... as is the fat bloke! AND Inspector Morse. I used to live quite near him. They gave him the Jag when the series finished, and you'd see him out in it occasionally before he died, getting petrol at the BP garage at the Malmesbury roundabout on the A429.

And Barnaby (first version anyway) is semi-retired, up the road a bit in Evesham. So I think the crooks will be making a comeback

I grew up near Malmesbury, never knew John Thaw and Sheila Hancock were locals

Great big house at Alderton, just down the road from Luckington. Don't know if she's still there...
